Shopify landing page templates that fit your offer

A Shopify landing page template is a reusable campaign layout. Choose its structure around the offer the shopper needs to understand, then connect it to the correct products and purchase action.

Use the five blueprints below with your theme or builder. They are layout recommendations, not downloadable theme files.

Quick answer

Use a single-product layout for one offer, a bundle layout for included items and terms, or a comparison layout when shoppers need to choose. Then check product availability and template assignments.

How should Shopify landing pages handle promotion rules?

Set the template’s product and promotion rules before choosing its layout. Check visible prices, eligible products and the purchase path together. Give copied offer text an owner and expiry date. Review the page with actual merchandise so the campaign promotes the offer the brand approved.

Choose a layout for the purchase decision

Single-product campaign. Put the ad promise first, followed by the product, a supported benefit, relevant proof, price and purchase action. Keep variant choice visible before the shopper enters checkout.

Bundle offer. Show included products, quantities and the actual selling price. Explain the bundle advantage with verifiable arithmetic, not a made-up saving. Keep subscription terms beside the offer if a subscription is involved.

Problem and product. Explain one problem in plain language, then show how the product addresses it. Any health or performance claim needs brand-approved substantiation.

Product comparison. Compare the attributes shoppers actually ask about. Link every item to the correct product and disclose when the options serve different jobs.

Creator or campaign collection. Preserve the creator promise, show the relevant selection and make the destination identifiable when a shopper returns later.

Create and assign the campaign template

Shopify documents five assignable resource groups for alternate templates: pages, products, collections, blogs and blog posts. Assignment happens in the admin; editing happens in the theme editor. Shopify template documentation.

That separation matters. Editing one shared template can change several pages at once. Before changing a sale layout, list the pages that use it. If the campaign needs a different structure, create an alternate template rather than changing the shared default.

In the theme editor, create a named alternate page template from the closest layout. Adjust its supported sections and preview it. Shopify copies the source template’s sections; available controls depend on the theme.

Assign it through the page’s Theme template field in Shopify admin. Use a descriptive name and record page assignments before renaming or deleting the template.

Keep product identity consistent between the campaign page and product page. Put the offer beside the purchase action, including bundle or subscription choices. Verify product-specific proof, current packaging and approved claims. Remove expired promotions from the page and shared sections.

Review the merchandise and maintain the offer

Write the offer in one sentence. List the product identifiers, eligible variants, price, discount conditions, subscription terms and campaign end date. Then map each item to a visible page element. This worksheet is a proposed review process, not conversion research.

Review mobile layout with the real product names and longest variant labels. Inspect the first screen, product selection, cart action and order path. Ask a teammate to explain the offer without reading your brief. If their answer differs, fix the page before buying more traffic.

Compare the same attributes in the same order, with consistent units. Leave unknown details unfilled and link each option to its product. For creator collections, preserve the promoted selection and assign someone to update unavailable products, imagery and return paths.

Record the layout owner, offer owner, assigned pages and review date. Separate catalog-fed fields from copied page text. Before publishing, check long titles, small screens, variant selection and the offer without images. Supply readable copy when a graphic carries essential meaning.

Campaigns can share structure while using different products and offers. Document shared design settings and campaign-specific fields. Use a separate layout when the buying decision changes. After a campaign, check assignments and remove expired content before reusing the template.

Buyer requirements that change the layout

The selected buyers raised promotion controls, current availability and structured product information. Use the table to check the campaign’s merchandise rules before styling it.

Publish the smallest layout that explains the offer

Choose one blueprint, fill it with current product facts and test the purchase path on mobile. Assign the template and offer owners before launch. Use the Shopify creation steps to publish and the A/B testing checklist when there is a specific comparison to run.

If the theme cannot support the layout, compare Shopify builders. For ad-specific product and message matching, discuss dynamic landing pages in a demo.
